Really it does. It is so easy to completely misunderstand the person you are talking to and vice versa. It messes everything up and makes people sad and angry with each other. There should be some universal way to type - with font or color or something - that makes it perfectly clear if you are being sarcastic, joking, or are actually angry.

Email doesn't convey tone, emotion nor meaning that well. It depends on command of language and the ability to understand the receipients state of mind. Mind reading isn't a skill I have aquired yet either. I am sorry......
